This wagon was made after an article in LID (Light Iron Digest). The prototype lacked it's wheels and no one knows which type it had, so I added bogies to my model.
This wagon was never ment to be.. It was part of an experiment I did in April 06. But later on I got inner bearings from Bommelbahn.de and since I now had all the parts..., I did assemble them.
This wagon was the outcome of above experiment.
The hut is a replica from a timber line east of Sweden on the island Öland. The wagon itself is from Dr Christian Cenac's great drawing collection. Both the wagon and hut are originally for two-foot gauge but I adopted them for 18in gauge.
Freelance model based on the WW1 16mm scale model seen in the background. This was my contribution to 2005-2006 Winter Swap model on the 7/8in Scale Train group on Yahoo.
Both models are built as Deptford system wagons. The box van is somewhat freelance.
