LiveSteam Bagnall 0-4-0 Mercedes class
This lovely little loco as seen here, is internally gas fired and uses our 'Well Chuffed' proven valve gear, cylinders are machined from Brass although shown here with double slide bars the single bar crosshead has now arrived along with the cast smokebox and chimney.
For initial water filling the saddle tank is removed to access the knurled screw cap which incorporates a goddal valve, this is accessed through the scale tank filler when in steam. The gas tank fills through the open roof hatch. These can be supplied as manual or radio controlled, but being so small the reciever and batteries have to be carried in a trailing truck or carriage (sorry folks!).
